August 6th:  “Oma” at the Kids @ the Colonial Series, a puppet show about a knitting grandma!    We’ll be offering some knitting instruction on the sidewalk.  Come and join us for both events.

August 8th:  Zimmerman Book Discussion at 3:00.  Month of July she introduces you to an easy lace shawl pattern for traveling and her assorted amusing opinions about traveling in general.

August 8th:  Yarn Tasting, 5-7. Out with the old, in with the new!  We are saying goodbye to our old friend, Kraemer.  Bring in or wear something you made with it.  We have brought in Keystone, a worsted weight acrylic/North American Wool blend, from Kelbourne Woolens (also from Pennsylvania) to replace Kraemer Perfection Worsted, so we’ll have some of that to try out.  Starting at Friday’s Yarn Tasting, all Kraemer will be on sale for 25% off.  

August 9th:  Bethlehem Day—Vendors, food trucks, hats for sale!  25% off Kraemer!

August 16th:  Doll Knit-Along with Bill.  Choose a character to recreate in a doll or just do a generic one.  Bill has all the experience to help you successfully knit a doll. 10:30

August 22nd:  Book Club at 10:30 Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson.

August 23rd:  Ped Sock Class.  Get right down to turning the heel by making a short cuffed sock.  10:30. $15

August 30th:  Miname Lace Top.  If you haven’t attempted lace, this summer top will be a great project for you.  Knit in DK weight with #6, Kraemer Tatamy Tweed (on sale) makes a great summer cotton/acrylic top.

September 6th:  Learn to Crochet. Get your skills ready to make a beanie on the 13th.  10:30 $15
