I make mistakes, often not intentionally, but sometimes projects don’t work out. My solution? Turn the mistake into a design modification. For instance, I made a summer top out of Cascade Ultra Pima. The yarn did not hold its shape, so soon it was unattractively sagging. Solution? I ripped out the top, bound off the bottom of the garment and, voila, I had a sweet, lightweight cowl for cool autumn evenings.
