February and March Classes and Events

Yarn Tasting Friday, February 14th 5-7. Valentine’s Day!  Make Healing Hearts with Ann’s handwoven cloth.  All supplies included.  No knitting, just simple sewing.  Nibbles, sips, and good company.

Saturday, February 1st at 10:30:  Brianna’s Capelet.  For all you Outlander fans, the Reunion Capelet is for you.  Size 13 needles, with bulky yarn, so this is a fast knit!  Learn to Wrap and Turn. Pattern included.  $15

Saturday, February 8th at 2:00:  Casey will teach the first class of the Fiddlehead Mitten.  Learn an i-cord cast-on and stranded knitting.  Size 3, 4, or 5 needles with DK weight yarn. $15 Pattern not included.  $5.95 from shop or downloaded from Ravelry.

Saturday, February 15th at 10:30:  Easy lace shawl in worsted weight,  Size 8 needles. Scone Shawl in Knitscene Winter 2019. Learn how to read a lace chart.  $20 including magazine of $8.99 value.  Limited space.

Thursday, February 20th at noon:  Book club will finish discussing The Overstory by Richard Powers and then will be discussing Trust Exercise by Susan Choi.

Saturday, February 22nd at 10:30:  Fair Isle Vest in worsted weight.  9 colors. Size 7 and 8 needles.  Learn to carry yarns and read color work charts.  $15. Pattern included.

Saturday, March 14th at 2:00:  Second class in the Fiddlehead Mitten.  $15

Saturday, March 28th at 10:30:  Second class in Fair Isle vest.  $15

Operation Gratitude Hats and Scarves are due at the end of January.
